Fun and more Monday, March19, 2012MARCH BREAK On sunday night my friend Youdon slept over, we watched a lot of korean dramas. On monday Youdon and I went to Duffrin mall and when my mom was done work she took us to Eaton Centre, we had fun shopping and looking at things. On tuesday Youdon and I went to the park near my home and played games, we were going to go swimming but they didn't have swimming that day. On wednesday Youdon and I went to the park and played until 5:30 than we went swimming, It was so fun! At 7:15 Youdon went home. On thursday I stayed home, I was so bored. I finished the korean drama Youdon and I watched called, "Goong" its very good! On Friday Tsetan, Tenzin's Grandmother took Tsetan, Tenzin, Tsetan's brother and I to Duffin mall. Then we went to a park and played for a while. After that we went to the library. Their grandmother left and Tsetan, Tenzin, Tsetan's brother, and I wanted to watch a movie so we stayed. Me, tsetan did not watch the movie. We stayed and played on the computers. On Saturday my parents and I went to my dad's friend's home. They live in a condo with a pool! My mom, my dad's friends wife, my dad's friends 1 year old daughter, and I went swimming it was so much fun. We stayed at their home until 12:30 than we went home. On Sunday Tsetan, Tenzin, Tsetan's brother, Chemi and I went to play Badminton at a community centre but it was 16 and over. We went to the park next to it and played Badminton there, We had a lot of fun. Later we went to the library. We went on the computer. I learned that the librarians are going on strike so we have borrow books fast or it could be closed for weeks. At 3:30 my parents came to pick me up. I had a Great MARCHBREAK! Monday,Feb22,2012 Weekend Update: LOSARLosar is the tibetan word for new year. On family day(monday), my mom, dad, and I made a traditional snack for LOSAR. For dinner my parents and I did another tradition, we do it every year on the 22nd. We each a clump of dough, inside it there is a peice of paper with writing on it. It says a word repersenting what your personality is. My first was, "Charcoal" meaning I was Cruel my second was, "Cloud" meaning I was Kind. My mom told me it meant if I was cruel I would be REALLY cruel and if I was kind I would be REALLY kind. On Losar we offer the god many goods like the traditional snacks and flowers. We also wear a traditional dress and go to temples to pray. On Wednesday my parents and I are going to a temple to prey. LOSAR is a new year for the Tibetan Buddhism. Monday,jan16,2012 Yippee!!!!!!!!!!I bought a new blackberry tablet at a store called source! I dont bring it to school because were not allowed to bring electronics to school but after school I play with it at either the library or home!!! Story of how me and my tablet met: I wanted a tablet when my dad got a laptop so on saturday i went to Duffrin mall with my parents and when we saw a blackberry at source. My mom said if i wanted a blackberry i have to pay half and I agreed. There are a lot of things I can do with a blackberry tablet like: takeing pictures, uploading music, reading books, playing games, going on wiki, and more!

Muppet's The Movie was about a Muppet like boy named Walter who is the worlds biggest Muppet fan but finds out that a man named Tex Richmen is destroying the Muppet studio its up to him and his his brother Gary and his brothers girlfriend Mary to reunite the Muppet to do one last show to save the studio. Along the way Mary feels that Gary doesn't spend enough time with her and makes Gary decide if hes a man or one of the Muppets. The movie was fun and exicting to watch and the the song were very funny and entertaining!

monday,nov14,2011popularity papers book 1 and 2 are my favourite books!my favourite books are popularity papers because it is a book about 2 friends trying to learn about everything before they go to grade 6.In book 1 they get new friends and try to gain as much popularity as they can but they have a few difficulties and have a small argument but hey are good friends.

weekend at African lion safari My weekend. On saterday my mom and dad took me, my best friend "Kelsang " and my mom's friend's son "christian" came over so we can go toAfrican loin safari .We went at 10:00. It took long but we made it. First we went to eat, we had a veg and pepperoni pizza, it was sooooo good! Than we went in, we had to stay in the car and not open the door or window because the animals were not locked in a cage and could hurt us. First we saw a bull or ox? and a crane. Than we saw loins 1 male and 5 females. The male and a few females moved but other than that nothing exiting happened except until the one female came close to one of the cars! It was a good thing i brought a camera! Than we saw cheetahs resting in the shade. A ostrich pecked on our window we got some good photo's of that. We saw some hippo's in the water. Than we saw deer and goats, the baby's are so cute! We also saw a group of monkeys riding on lots of cars, one came on ours we were a bit scared. Last we saw a few giraffe and zebras. Than we came out of the car and looked around. Kelsang, Christian and i looked around and saw a discovery center and saw thing like lion and cheetah skin and fur. than we went on the playground, there were balls and a small slide. than we went to a parrot show. here were many tricks and facts but my favorite part was when a talking parrot came out and talked! than we saw a bird show there were so many different kinds. We learned that when the female thinks the male isn't doing his share of the work she beats him, kills him, and eats him. Wow that's what you call fierce. Last we went to an elephant round up show there was 3 Asian elephants. One was named lily the eldest and she crossed her legs it was so cute. next was goerge and he showed off! last was olive she was so adorable! they painted, played soccer and basketball. Over all the day was great and i will always remember it!

friday/oct07/2011 story time!I heard of a tibetan and fake story ill write it in english here it goesonce there was a monk teacher and he had a few students usually in tibet the students stay with the teacher.the teacher sent one of his student to go and get meat for there food and the boy came back and the teacher said "did you get the meat" and the boy said "yes" and the teacher said did you get any extra and the boy said"yes" than the teacher said never to ask the lady who worked deli shop to give them any extra's. The boy said yes but did not know why the teacher said that because if you had free extra meat its better. So the next day the boy asked for ore and returned the teacher asked the question again and the boy said that he asked for more meat and the lady was nice and called him a cute little boy and the teacher got worried. the next day the boy asked for more again and told the teacher again but this time he said "the nice lady pat me on the hat" now the teacher was really worried. the monk said that the lady is a monster that eats people she is part of a scary group and when someone asks her for extra meat she gives them and gets the person to fead the pack. the teacher said the next morning so to the mountin and you will reach there by night there is a temple with a monk and he will give you something so that the monster wont see you. the boy agreed to go and met the monk the monk got a box and put a spell on it. the monsters don't have a good eye sight. but there nose are really good. the boy went in the box and the monk said be really quite and this box will not show but if the monster shakes the box 9 times he will appear and the box will vanish. the boy stayed all night in the box. the lady monster told her pack that she will bring back a nice delicious person for there meal.the monster got 2 shaking power from the headleader and went to the temple. She smelled the boy and shaked the room 2 times the boy did not appear. she went back to the leader and got 6 more power. he said he wont give any more powers. she used the three and he did not show so the other monsters were hungrey and ate the lady monster. the boy learned a lesson. tell me wht the lesson was on the disscation.

Selena Gomaz went to help a few people who helped the dogs and give it shelter, food, and love. Selena said she saw a man driving around a street and a dog was in front of him. The man got board and ran over the dog. i think it is really cruel for someone to do that. So please be carful where you send your unwanted pets and if you want to give a generous donation or just want to check out some of the things these people do. If you see a hurt dog or cat on the street call the humane society and they will come to help the animal and tell the person whre it is and what street it is on. you must remeber not to touch it because it could be dangerous.here is the website and the number is on the website. http://www.humanesociety.org/

Tibetan Mastiffs found in the mountainous regions of Tibet some 6000 years as a flock dog, and were used as guard dogs outside the sacred city of Lhasa. They are regarded as the oldest, biggest and fiercest of domestic dogs. And their scarcity and reputation have transformed them into a status symbol for China’s nouveau rich.
Many rich Chinese now visit the annual Yushu horce-racing festival (on the border between Qinghai province and Tibet) for a chance to get their hands on a pure-bred puppy or two.
The Times Online visited the festival and found several dozen of these Tibetan Mastiffs lolling around on Tibetan rugs, and shaded by beach umbrellas from the hot sun. One of these large dogs had a glossy black head and back, with a yellow-brown underbelly and paws – an “iron and gold” male, It’s price tag? 300,000 yuan – or almost $40,000.
“Chinese see these dogs as a way to show off their wealth because they are rare,” 16-year-old breeder Jiangyong Yixi told The Times. “They will attack a bear tiger to protect their owners herds of sheep and yaks in Tibet.

They have been known for there beauty of there singing voices and songs for all who have herd them. But they were deadly.
They lured mariners lured by the sirens songs.
Scylla
Scylla was a water nymph and there are lots of different stories of how she became a monster.
In all the stories an jealous goddess or an enchantress who changed her into a writhing saintlike form with 6 heads and a voice of howling dogs.
She lived in a cave. Probably in the straits of Medina between Italy and Sicily.
She used her long necks to take sailors and devours them.
Charybdis
Across from her there was a charybdis, a powerful whrilpool strong enough to swallow the larghest sea vessel.
Hard choices
Navigating between these 2 terrors was a matter of life and death.

Fairys and elves both love danceing and music.Pixis are ussaly nice and if yourmistreated or poor they willl help you but if you dont pay them back or anoyed them than they will make you lost whick is called"pixie led" .You will have to give a loaf of bread or a glass of fresh milk.

Evish woman are sometimes attracted to young men and may lure them into a fairy ring. Which for a human , is difficult to escape. Sometimes elves might take a human baby to make it a elves baby and kidnap a human woman to take care of the baby.
time in fairyland
It is said to be pssible for a human man or woman to viset fairy land and return home safely but they can not eat or drink anything while they are there. a single mouthful of fairy food and you are there's forever. People who escape from fairyland learn that time there is different from human time. 1 hour in fairlyland is many years in human world.

weekend at African lion safari
My weekend. On saterday my mom and dad took me, my best friend "Kelsang " and my mom's friend's son "christian" came over so we can go toAfrican loin safari .We went at 10:00. It took long but we made it. First we went to eat, we had a veg and pepperoni pizza, it was sooooo good! Than we went in, we had to stay in the car and not open the door or window because the animals were not locked in a cage and could hurt us. First we saw a bull or ox? and a crane. Than we saw loins 1 male and 5 females. The male and a few females moved but other than that nothing exiting happened except until the one female came close to one of the cars! It was a good thing i brought a camera! Than we saw cheetahs resting in the shade. A ostrich pecked on our window we got some good photo's of that. We saw some hippo's in the water. Than we saw deer and goats, the baby's are so cute! We also saw a group of monkeys riding on lots of cars, one came on ours we were a bit scared. Last we saw a few giraffe and zebras. Than we came out of the car and looked around. Kelsang, Christian and i looked around and saw a discovery center and saw thing like lion and cheetah skin and fur. than we went on the playground, there were balls and a small slide. than we went to a parrot show. here were many tricks and facts but my favorite part was when a talking parrot came out and talked! than we saw a bird show there were so many different kinds. We learned that when the female thinks the male isn't doing his share of the work she beats him, kills him, and eats him. Wow that's what you call fierce. Last we went to an elephant round up show there was 3 Asian elephants. One was named lily the eldest and she crossed her legs it was so cute. next was goerge and he showed off! last was olive she was so adorable! they painted, played soccer and basketball. Over all the day was great and i will always remember it!

story time!I heard of a tibetan and fake story ill write it in english here it goesonce there was a monk teacher and he had a few students usually in tibet the students stay with the teacher.the teacher sent one of his student to go and get meat for there food and the boy came back and the teacher said "did you get the meat" and the boy said "yes" and the teacher said did you get any extra and the boy said"yes" than the teacher said never to ask the lady who worked deli shop to give them any extra's. The boy said yes but did not know why the teacher said that because if you had free extra meat its better. So the next day the boy asked for ore and returned the teacher asked the question again and the boy said that he asked for more meat and the lady was nice and called him a cute little boy and the teacher got worried. the next day the boy asked for more again and told the teacher again but this time he said "the nice lady pat me on the hat" now the teacher was really worried. the monk said that the lady is a monster that eats people she is part of a scary group and when someone asks her for extra meat she gives them and gets the person to fead the pack. the teacher said the next morning so to the mountin and you will reach there by night there is a temple with a monk and he will give you something so that the monster wont see you. the boy agreed to go and met the monk the monk got a box and put a spell on it. the monsters don't have a good eye sight. but there nose are really good. the boy went in the box and the monk said be really quite and this box will not show but if the monster shakes the box 9 times he will appear and the box will vanish. the boy stayed all night in the box. the lady monster told her pack that she will bring back a nice delicious person for there meal.the monster got 2 shaking power from the headleader and went to the temple. She smelled the boy and shaked the room 2 times the boy did not appear. she went back to the leader and got 6 more power. he said he wont give any more powers. she used the three and he did not show so the other monsters were hungrey and ate the lady monster. the boy learned a lesson. tell me wht the lesson was on the disscation.

A few days ago i watched a video of an island where people put unwanted dogs and think its better than a shelter because there with other dogs. these dogs are in Puerto Rico and there they are not cared for like a shelter. Selena Gomaz went to help a few people who helped the dogs and give it shelter, food, and love. Selena said she saw a man driving around a street and a dog was in front of him. The man got board and ran over the dog. i think it is really cruel for someone to do that. So please be carful where you send your unwanted pets and if you want to give a generous donation or just want to check out some of the things these people do. If you see a hurt dog or cat on the street call the humane society and they will come to help the animal and tell the person whre it is and what street it is on. you must remeber not to touch it because it could be dangerous.here is the website and the number is on the website.
